Put in your arrival and departure dates, the places you are visiting and your nationality, and this page builds your own Korea trip dashboard: a countdown, the weather to expect on your dates, public holidays and festivals during your trip, and a pre-departure checklist with dates — K-ETA or visa, e-Arrival Card, SIM, money, packing. You can add it all to your calendar.
Everything stays in your browser (saved with localStorage on this device). Nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
The pre-departure checklist
The planner puts a date on each of these from your arrival date. Two dates are official deadlines (K-ETA and the e-Arrival Card window); the others are our suggested timing, marked as such.
- Visa or K-ETA — check your passport in the visa-free and K-ETA table. If your passport needs a K-ETA, apply on k-eta.go.kr before you board, ideally at least 72 hours ahead (₩10,000, valid 3 years). 72 passports do not need one until 2026-12-31.
- e-Arrival Card — free on e-arrivalcard.go.kr, from 3 days before you land (Korea time). Needed if you enter visa-free without a K-ETA or on a visa. How to fill it in.
- Phone and internet — SIM, eSIM and apps that work without a Korean number.
- Money — Korean won converter · ATMs that take foreign cards.
- Apps and transit card — apps to install and T-money tips.
- Packing — what you can bring into Korea (medicine, food, duty-free allowance).
- Where to stay in Seoul — neighbourhoods compared.
- Trains outside Seoul — is a KORAIL PASS worth it for your route?
- Arrival day — Incheon Airport to Seoul: train, bus or taxi.
Where the numbers come from
- Weather: Korea Meteorological Administration station records, 2011–2025 averages, and the KMA short- and medium-range forecast for trips starting within about 10 days — Korea weather · Korea by month.
- Public holidays: Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (2026 and 2027) — Korea public holidays.
- Festivals: Korea Tourism Organization listings (TourAPI) — festivals this month. Festivals far ahead are often added only a few weeks before.
- Visa-free stay and K-ETA status: the country list used by the official K-ETA site (k-eta.go.kr).

FAQ
Is my trip information saved anywhere?
Only in your own browser on this device (localStorage). It is not sent to our server or anyone else. Clearing your browser data, or the "Clear my trip" button, removes it.
How accurate is the weather for my dates?
If your trip starts within about 10 days, the planner shows the Korea Meteorological Administration forecast for the days it covers. For later dates it shows 15-year averages for that month at the nearest weather station we have, labelled as averages — not a forecast.
When should I apply for a K-ETA?
Before you board, ideally at least 72 hours ahead, on the official site k-eta.go.kr (₩10,000, valid 3 years). 72 passports are exempt until 2026-12-31; travellers aged 17 or under or 65 or over do not need one.
When can I fill in the e-Arrival Card?
From 3 days before your arrival (Korea time) until you go through immigration. It is free on e-arrivalcard.go.kr and a submission is valid for 72 hours. K-ETA holders skip it unless they enter on a visa.
Does the calendar file include my checklist?
Yes. "Add to calendar" downloads an .ics file with your trip dates, the holidays during your trip and each checklist item on its date. It is made in your browser; open it with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
