How this page works

Fares, operating hours, stops, ticket rules, refunds and official sellers are copied from the Haeundae Blueline Park official website on the date shown. The group calculator splits the Sky Capsule into 2-, 3- and 4-seat capsules at the lowest total under the operator’s rules. Nearest subway stations and buses come from Busan’s public transport data; station positions from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line. The page is rebuilt twice a day (around 09:15 and 21:15 Korea time) and republished only when the numbers change.

FAQ

How much is the Haeundae Beach Train?

A single ride is ₩10,000 from Mipo or Songjeong and ₩8,000 from Cheongsapo or a halt. A 2-ride ticket is ₩14,000 and an all-stations ticket (hop on and off, up to 7 round trips) is ₩16,000. Child fares are ₩7,000, ₩11,000 and ₩13,000. Prices from the official site, 2026-10-29.

How much is the Busan Sky Capsule?

It is priced per capsule: ₩50,000 for 2 people, ₩55,000 for 3 and ₩60,000 for 4. The number of riders must match the capsule size, except that a group of five including a child aged 7 or under may share a 4-seat capsule.

Beach train or Sky Capsule — which should I take?

The beach train covers the whole coast from Mipo to Songjeong and lets you hop off at viewpoints; the Sky Capsule is a private pod over a shorter stretch (Mipo to Cheongsapo, about 30 minutes) and costs more per person. Many visitors ride the capsule one way and the train the other — use the calculator above to price both for your group.

What are the opening hours?

This month (November) the beach train runs 09:00–19:00 and the Sky Capsule 08:30–18:00. Hours change with the season — see the table. The operator says both run in rain but may stop in heavy rain or typhoons.

Where do I get on?

At Mipo (near the east end of Haeundae Beach), Cheongsapo or Songjeong. The closest subway station to Mipo is Jung-dong on Busan Metro Line 2, about 1.0 km away. The train must be left at the end stations, Mipo and Songjeong.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Yes — same-day tickets are sold on site. You can also book on the official site or the official resellers the operator lists (Trip.com, KKday, Klook and others). Discounted fares (seniors and others) are sold on site only with ID.

Do I get the Busan resident discount?

Only Busan or Haeundae-gu residents. Foreigners qualify only with an alien registration card on an F-4, F-5 or F-6 visa showing a Busan or Haeundae address — tourists pay the standard fare.
