K-Dramas Filmed in Seoul: 4 Shows, 4 Neighborhoods (2026)

Itaewon Class, Nevertheless, Jealousy Incarnate and Vincenzo all filmed on location in Seoul, and several real spots are open to visitors — including the DanBam bar exterior at 7 Itaewon-ro 20-gil.

Nevertheless Yongsan (Mimi Ok Shin-Yongsan) and Mapo/Sangsu (Gyeongju Bistro)
Jealousy Incarnate Mapo — SBS Prism Tower lobby, Hongik Sutbul Galbi
Vincenzo Seongsu — Cafe Onion Seongsu
General backdrop Bukchon, Euljiro and Ikseon-dong retro hanok alleys

Four named dramas — Itaewon Class, Nevertheless, Jealousy Incarnate and Vincenzo — filmed on real Seoul streets and storefronts, and most of their spots are reachable by subway.

Some sites are visitable businesses, some are public streets and overpasses, and others have closed or turned into something else.

Seoul’s official tourism site runs a dedicated Hallyu section that promotes K-drama filming locations, so you can check spot lists on visitseoul.net before you go.

The first thing to check for any spot is whether it still operates as the thing you saw on screen — the Itaewon Class locations are mostly open, but several of the older Mapo spots from these lists have closed or changed hands.

If you only know a drama from Netflix, plan around the spots that are confirmed open, and treat the rest as a bonus.

Itaewon Class Filming Locations: What You See Today

The exterior of DanBam is Relax N Fun, a real restaurant at 7 Itaewon-ro 20-gil, Yongsan-gu, but the bar interior in the drama was a studio set — fans take exterior photos only.

In the show DanBam had a red sign and a cozy pocha feel, and the real Relax N Fun is an ordinary restaurant with a different vibe, so expect a photo stop, not the bar experience.

Noksapyeong Overpass, connected directly to Noksapyeong Station exit 2, is where Park Sae-ro-yi and Jo Yi-seo had their deep conversation scene, with a full view of Itaewon.

G Guesthouse at Bogwang-ro 60-gil 14-38 is about 5 minutes from Itaewon Station exit 3, appeared as the dormitory where Geun-soo lived, and still operates as a guesthouse.

Jo Yi-seo’s space and Maruku Diner at 31 Noksapyeong-daero 46-gil now run as the ITAEWON MOMENT cafe and a restaurant, so the buildings are there but under different names.

DanBam Branch 2 on the Haebangchon hillside (Oriol 1F), run by singer Jung Yeop, operates its 2nd floor as a cafe, and fan blogs suggest visiting between 2 and 6 pm.

Other listed spots include The Finest, an evening rooftop bar on Gyeongnidan-gil, point 34 under Banpodaegyo Bridge where Jo Yi-seo threw a coin, Baekbeom Plaza Park off the Namsan Dulle-gil trail, and Ssadaegi Alley just off the Itaewon main street.

DanBam Branch 1 is reportedly preparing to reopen as a new restaurant called ‘Seoul Bam’, but that comes from a fan blog, not the venue — check its status on the day you go.

If you have a free afternoon, the Yongsan/Itaewon cluster works as one walk: the overpass first, then the main street for the DanBam exterior, then G Guesthouse and ITAEWON MOMENT.

Nevertheless Filming Locations in Seoul: The Two Named Spots

Seoul’s official tourism site lists 4 Nevertheless filming locations, including Mimi Ok Shin-Yongsan in Yongsan and Gyeongju Bistro in Sangsu.

Spot Address Distance from subway Hours (from tourism page)
Mimi Ok Shin-Yongsan 27 Hannangdaero 15-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul 427 m from Yongsan Station exit 1 (Line 1 / Gyeongui-Jungang) Weekdays 11:00-15:30 (last order 15:00) and 17:00-21:30 (last order 21:00)
Gyeongju Bistro 49-7 Wausan-ro 13-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul 254 m from Sangsu Station exit 1 (Line 6) Daily 11:30-15:30 lunch / 17:30-23:00 dinner

Both spots sit a short walk from their subway exits, which makes a two-stop subway visit easy to plan.

The hours for both spots come from an undated tourism page, so re-check the visitseoul.net page or the venues’ own listings before you go, or you risk a wasted trip.

Jealousy Incarnate and Vincenzo Spots in Mapo and Seongsu

SBS Prism Tower at 82 SANGAMSAN-ro, Mapo-gu, was the broadcasting-station location for Jealousy Incarnate (and Pinocchio), and only the 1st floor lobby is open to visitors.

Half of the listed Mapo sites no longer operate as they appeared on screen: Halmae Super in Mangwon is listed as closed on the tourism site, and B-House, the former Rock Pasta & Villa residence, is now a guesthouse that requires a reservation.

For Vincenzo, Cafe Onion in Seongsu-dong near Ttukseom Station exit 2 is the confirmed stop, in an area of repurposed-factory cafes and pop-up spaces.

A Jealousy Incarnate fan heading to Mapo should plan around SBS Prism Tower and Hongik Sutbul Galbi, and treat Halmae Super and B-House as photo-from-the-outside only.

Bukchon, Euljiro and Ikseon-dong: A One-Day Retro Route

Bukchon Hanok Village, Euljiro and Ikseon-dong are the retro backgrounds most used by 2024–2025 dramas, and you can walk all three in one day.

Visitor guides recommend reaching Bukchon before 10 am, because tourist crowds surge after that — the core photo spots are Gye-dong-gil and the Gahoe-dong 31 area, about 10 minutes on foot from Anguk Station exit 2.

A workable one-day order:

  1. Bukchon Hanok Village at 8 am.
  2. Ikseon-dong for a hanok brunch.
  3. Euljiro retro alleys in the early afternoon.
  4. Seongsu cafe and pop-up circuit before dark.
  5. Night view at Ttukseom or Banpo Han River Park.

If you want drama-like backdrops without tracking official sites, the Euljiro and Ikseon-dong alleys give you vintage signs and old coffee shops on their own.

How to Find K-Drama Filming Spots in Seoul Yourself

Location-hunting guides suggest three tools: the Naver Map app, which handles Korean alleys better than Google Maps; a T-money card for subway and bus transfers; and drama stills saved from the show, so you can match signs and corners on the spot.

Fan communities on Instagram and YouTube — search ‘drama title + filming location’ — often surface spots faster than official lists, which is how the DanBam branch statuses got pinned down.

No parking information was found for any of the listed locations, so plan this as a transit-only trip.

If you want to chain spots by rail, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line connects the Yongsan-side spots, which suits a location-hopping route.

If I had one day, I would start at Noksapyeong Overpass near sunset, because the full view of Itaewon reads best in the evening and the Itaewon-side spots sit below it, so I could work my way down on foot.
