Music Bank Global Festival 2026 Japan: Dec 12–13 Lineup

Music Bank Global Festival 2026 Japan runs December 12–13, 2026, at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium) in Tokyo, with doors at 15:00 and a planned 17:00 start both days.
Sixteen acts are announced, but both presale windows have already closed — so the real question for a fan booking from outside Korea is whether any later sale opens.
This post covers the lineup day by day, show times, ticket prices, the current ticket situation, and where new announcements land first.

Key facts — As of 2026-10-13

  • Per the official Music Bank Japan notice, Music Bank Global Festival 2026 runs Dec 12–13, 2026 at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium), Tokyo, with doors 15:00 and start 17:00 marked tentative.
  • Per the official ticket notice, single-day reserved seats are 22,000 yen (tax incl.) and the 2-day pass is 40,000 yen (tax incl.) — 4,000 yen cheaper than two single-day tickets.

Music Bank Global Festival 2026 Japan: Who Plays Which Day

Single-day reserved seat 22,000 yen per day
2-day pass (both days) 40,000 yen — 4,000 yen less than two single-day tickets (44,000 yen)
Premium lounge arena seat, single-day 150,000 yen
Premium lounge arena seat, 2-day 300,000 yen

Day 1 (Saturday, December 12) has MISAMO, NAYEON of TWICE, ATEEZ, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts and ALPHA DRIVE ONE, with KIM JAEWON and SANA of MISAMO hosting.
Day 2 (Sunday, December 13) has Stray Kids, ITZY, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, RESCENE and CORTIS, with KIM JAEWON and JANG WONYOUNG of IVE hosting.

The first eight names were announced in September 2026, and eight more acts were added with day assignments in October 2026, so eight acts are set per day.
Both official lineups end with "and more", and the organizer says additional artist announcements are planned.
If you book a day for one act, expect that day’s list to still change.

Your choice is which day holds the acts you want: Dec 12 for ATEEZ, aespa, RIIZE, NCT WISH, MISAMO and NAYEON; Dec 13 for Stray Kids, ITZY, IVE and LE SSERAFIM.

Date, Venue and Start Time

Per the official notice, the festival runs Saturday December 12 and Sunday December 13, 2026, at MUFG Stadium (Japan National Stadium), 10-1 Kasumigaoka-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
Doors open at 15:00 and the show starts at 17:00, marked "scheduled" in the official release.

No end time or total runtime has been published, so leave evening buffer in your travel plans — a December night at an outdoor stadium runs late and cold.
The 2025 edition at the same stadium drew about 140,000 people over two days, roughly 70,000 per day.

By the stadium’s official access page, Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station on the Toei Oedo Line is about 1 minute away, Sendagaya Station on the JR Chuo/Sobu Line about 5 minutes, Gaiemmae Station on the Ginza Line about 10 minutes, and Shinanomachi Station on the JR Line about 15 minutes.

Ticket Prices: Single-Day, 2-Day Pass, Premium Lounge

All seats are reserved.
A single-day ticket is 22,000 yen (tax incl.), and the 2-day pass is 40,000 yen (tax incl.) — 4,000 yen cheaper than two single-day tickets at 44,000 yen total.

Premium lounge arena seats are limited-quantity: 150,000 yen for one day or 300,000 yen for both.
The premium price includes a guaranteed arena seat, an air-conditioned private lounge with buffet and free drinks including alcohol, and a dedicated entrance and cloakroom — about 128,000 yen more than a regular single-day seat, roughly 6.8 times the price.

If you want both days, the 2-day pass at 40,000 yen is the better buy over two separate 22,000 yen tickets — same reserved seating, 4,000 yen saved.
The premium seat only makes sense if the lounge buffet, drinks and guaranteed arena spot are worth ¥128,000 to you.
Up to 2 tickets per person per show.

Can You Still Buy Tickets? Where Sales Stand as of October 13

As of October 13, 2026, every announced presale window is closed.
The 2-day pass presale ran September 11–23, the premium 2-day window closed September 15, and the single-day second presale ended October 4 at 23:59.

Ticket type Price Status as of Oct 13
Single-day reserved 22,000 yen (tax incl.) Second presale ended Oct 4, 23:59
2-day pass 40,000 yen (tax incl.) First presale ended Sep 23, 23:59
Premium lounge, single-day 150,000 yen Might be skipped if 2-day applications were numerous
Premium lounge, 2-day 300,000 yen Window closed Sep 15, 23:59
Seat upgrade To be announced Sales coming later, details separate

All premium seats come with a guaranteed arena seat, air-conditioned lounge, buffet, free drinks including alcohol, and a dedicated entrance and cloak.
The purchase limit is up to 2 tickets per person per show.

No general sale or additional sale has been announced in official sources since the October 4 deadline.
Watch the official site music-bank.jp and X @MusicBankJapan for a general sale or upgrade announcement before booking flights.

Will It Be Broadcast on KBS?

No KBS broadcast date or platform for the 2026 Japan shows has been announced as of October 13, 2026.
Nothing live or delayed is confirmed in official sources.

There is a pattern worth noting but not relying on: the 2025 edition at National Stadium was televised by KBS2 as a recorded year-end special in late December.
If you cannot travel, that is the format to watch for — but 2026 broadcast plans are simply not out yet.
Check the official site and X account closer to December; a broadcast announcement, if it comes, will land there first.

If I had wanted both days, I would have taken the 2-day pass at 40,000 yen instead of two single-day tickets — it saves 4,000 yen and locks in both dates before any general sale chaos.

Before You Book: 3 Things To Check

  • Check ticket status before flights — as of October 13, 2026, both presales closed with no general sale announced; watch music-bank.jp and @MusicBankJapan first.
  • Treat doors 15:00 / start 17:00 as tentative ("scheduled") and plan no early evening commitments — no end time is published, and it gets cold at an open stadium in December.
  • If you want both days, the 2-day pass at 40,000 yen beats two 22,000 yen tickets by 4,000 yen; budget 150,000 yen only if the premium lounge perks matter to you.
