Three shows remain in the 2026 fall season, and all of them take place at Ttukseom Hangang Park.
The first is September 12, followed by October 9 and a Marvel-themed special on October 31.
Viewing is free from anywhere in the riverside park area with a clear view of the sky, and no ticket or reservation is needed.
Seoul runs the show twice a year, in spring and fall, as a flagship night-tourism program.
The spring 2026 season drew 125,000 visitors over five shows, about 25,000 per show.
That is up roughly 3,000 per show from spring 2025, and 34.6% of spring viewers were foreign visitors — nearly 1 in 2 at the Yeouido opener.

What the show looks like
Each show flies a fleet of drones that draws moving pictures in the night sky, set to music and a storyline.
Past themes included KPop Demon Hunters, BTS, Star Wars, and Kakao characters.
The regular fleet is about 1,200 drones.
The October 31 Marvel special will use 2,000 — the largest scale in the show’s history, in collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea.
The format has an audience beyond the park.
The spring 2026 Star Wars video passed 770,000 YouTube views from 97 countries, with 93.4% of views from overseas.
Unlike fireworks, the drone show produces no noise or smoke, so it works for travelers with young children or sensitive hearing.
How to get there and where to sit
Take Subway Line 7 to Jayang Station.
Exits 2 and 3 are the closest, about a 3-minute walk, but they bottleneck badly after the show — official guidance is to use exit 1 toward the Ttukseom entrance instead.
Konkuk University Station (Lines 2 and 7) is a 12–15 minute walk and works as an alternative route.
Seating is first-come, self-seating on the grass.
Arrive 1.5 to 2 hours early to secure a riverside spot, and bring a thick picnic mat or air cushion.
Fall nights by the river get cold.
A windbreaker or light padding, a power bank, and a thermos with a warm drink cover the basics.
Before the show: food, programs, and weather
Opening performances, cover dance, and busking run from about 7:00 PM for an hour before the main drone flight, with a second act afterward.
Food delivery is available at designated pickup zones in the park, and Seoul partners with Baemin for in-park ordering with foreign-language support and discount events.
A Seoro Market farmers’ stall sells regional specialties near Jayang Station exits 2–3 on show days.
Plan food carefully, though.
On show days, orders surge and deliveries can take over an hour, so buying food at nearby shops before entering the park is the safer option.

Rain or strong wind can shift or cancel a show, and times can move for airspace reasons too — a 2025 show started 45 minutes early due to a flight restriction.

When the drones land, Jayang Station exits 2–3 jam up fast.
Two fixes work: wait about 30 minutes in the park, or walk 12–15 minutes to Konkuk University Station for Lines 2 and 7.
Sort trash at the designated collection points or take it home in a standard garbage bag.
If September 12 does not fit the schedule, October 31 is the date to aim for.
The Marvel special with 2,000 drones will be the biggest show Seoul has flown, and it lands right around Halloween weekend.
