Ryan Holiday in Busan: Hours 11:00–20:00, KRW 20,000 Hall Fee

Ryan Holiday in Busan: Hours 11:00–20:00, KRW 20,000 Hall Fee

Ryan Holiday in Busan is a Kakao Friends Ryan theme park under the Haeundae Beach lawn — B1 and B2 are free, and the paid ‘Ryan My Favorite Things’ hall is KRW 20,000 per person.

Key facts — As of 2026-10-09

  • Per Busan Metropolitan City’s English guide (visitbusan.net, checked 2026-10-10), the paid hall ‘Ryan My Favorite Things’ costs KRW 20,000 per person, the same for adults and children, and children under 36 months enter free with proof of age.
  • Getting there per the city guide: Haeundae Station on Busan Metro Line 2, Exit 5, then a roughly 595 m walk — or buses 31, 39, 141, 200 or 100 to the Haeundae Hot Spring stop and a 5-minute walk.

How to Get to Ryan Holiday in Busan

B1 Secret Palace and B2 Secret Market Free — photo zones, cafe lounge, Hidden Club, food market, shops
Paid hall ‘Ryan My Favorite Things’ (B2) KRW 20,000 per person, adults and children the same; under 36 months free with proof of age
Visit Busan Pass Paid hall is free with the pass
Metro Haeundae Station, Line 2, Exit 5 — about 595 m walk
Bus 31, 39, 141, 200 or 100 to Haeundae Hot Spring, then a 5-minute walk

Take Busan Metro Line 2 to Haeundae Station, leave by Exit 5 and walk about 595 m to the beachside lawn.
The walk from the exit to the entrance takes roughly 8 minutes at an unhurried pace.

Per Busan Metropolitan City’s English guide, buses 31, 39, 141, 200 or 100 also stop at Haeundae Hot Spring, and from there it is a 5-minute walk.
Do not go in through the Grand Josun Busan front door — the entrance is the grass lawn between the hotel and Haeundae Beach, styled as Ryan’s boat, with stairs going down.

If I were coming from Seoul, I would take the KTX to Busan — there is a Seoul↔Busan KTX timetable page on koreankorea.com to check trains — and then continue to the Haeundae lawn entrance, which is easy to miss behind the hotel.

Is It Open? Hours and the Renovation Closure

visitbusan.net (checked October 10, 2026) currently lists Ryan Holiday in Busan as temporarily closed due to renovation work, with operating hours to be updated and no reopening date announced.
The same page shows 11:00–20:00 as the standing hours, so treat any trip as unconfirmed until the notice is lifted.

Korean visitor reports describe a seasonal split — January to April 11:00–20:00 and May to December 10:00–22:00, with the last paid-hall entry an hour before closing — but these are unofficial and predate the closure notice.
When I look at a venue like this, the first thing I check is whether it is actually open, so I would re-read the visitbusan.net listing the day before building a Haeundae day around it.

What It Costs: Free Floors, Paid Hall and Discounts

Per Busan Metropolitan City’s English guide (visitbusan.net, checked October 10, 2026):

Area Entry fee
B1 Secret Palace (photo zones, cafe lounge, Hidden Club) Free
B2 Secret Market (food market, shops) Free
Paid hall ‘Ryan My Favorite Things’ (B2) KRW 20,000 per person

Children under 36 months enter free with proof of age.
A Visit Busan Pass also covers the paid hall, so pass holders should not buy a separate KRW 20,000 ticket.
Trip.com purchases have been reported with KRW 5,000 off per person and some nearby hotels hand out 10% discount coupons for the exhibition, but these are promotions that may have ended — check the price shown at purchase rather than planning around them.

What’s Inside: Free Zones and the Paid Hall

B1 is the Secret Palace — free photo zones with Ryan in different outfits, a cafe lounge with a nightclub-style Hidden Club, and a four-cut photo booth with Ryan and Choonsik templates.
B2 holds the Secret Market, a free food street with snacks and shops, plus the ticketed hall.

The paid hall is where the experiences sit: a 4DX theater that rides along Haeundae with Ryan and Peach, Ryan’s closet, a wave tunnel and interactive trick art.
It runs an 8-stop stamp tour (Ryan’s Bag → Dream Square → Private Broadcast → Dance Class → Showroom → ZZZ Park → Holiday Road → Surfing Road), and finishing the full course earns a free gift.
Goods made with Busan’s seagull character Boogi are sold only here, so if a Busan-exclusive souvenir is the goal, it is in the B2 shop.

Good for Kids or a Rainy Day in Haeundae?

Plan 30 minutes to 1 hour, and use it as an indoor stop if beach weather fails — that is how the city guide itself positions it.
The venue has clean restrooms, a nursing room for mothers with young children, and is stroller- and family-friendly.

The Dance Class stop lets children pick one of 3–4 K-POP songs and dance along with Ryan and Choonsik for a score.
On weekends and holidays the paid hall admits groups at roughly 10-minute intervals and can pause ticket sales at capacity, so expect some waiting with kids in tow.

Parking and What to Eat Nearby

There is no dedicated parking, so leave the car at a nearby public lot — the Haeundae-gu Office lot is cited as cheaper than hotel parking.
Inside, the cafe serves drinks named after Ryan and Choonsik, and the B2 market sells street snacks such as tteokbokki and Haeundae nut cream sandwich cookies.

For a proper meal, the city guide’s Haeundae-gu dining list is collected on koreankorea.com — that page groups the official restaurant listings by neighborhood.
The KTX timetable page there also helps if the trip starts in Seoul.

Tips

  • Enter from the beach lawn behind Grand Josun Busan — the hotel front door is the wrong way in.
  • Hold a Visit Busan Pass? Skip the KRW 20,000 ticket; the pass covers the paid hall.
  • If it rains during your Haeundae day, the free B1 and B2 floors alone are worth a 30–60 minute stop.
